Flocking Grackles 2
It's still Winter and still time for the grackles to socialize. They've moved their evening gathering spot a bit west to between the RA Centre and the Rideau River. Mostly they hang out in the trees but, increasingly, they are gathering on the fields as well. It is very exciting to be surrounded by gregarious birds, even at twenty below zero!
