The Spring Flood
What with all the snow this year (almost beat the record of over 13 feet!) the rivers have flooded.
There is a nameless park across Riverside Drive from Billings Bridge, surrounded by the Rideau River. During flood it was covered with more than two feet of water. The birds were ecstatic!
It was Bird Heaven
When the Rideau River is high, a hollow between the parts of the divided Riverside Drive fills as well. Perhaps there is a direct pipe between them?
I call it the Magic Hollow
