I grew up on the edge of the Great Plains. I've spent the last 40 years moving in and out of a city. I'm definitely ambivalent about cities. I am constantly amazed at the capacity of Nature to fill in wherever we stop disturbing things. In the city this happens after the grater has left; whenever land gets abandoned; in the cracks of the sidewalks.
Wild In the City takes the viewpoint of Nature, striving to fill in around Man's disturbances, framing Man's intrusions. The Gallery is here.
